Interior detailing tools and tips
Interior detailing tools and tips First thing is in order to be efficient you need to have a system , or an order by which you clean. My system is: doors, seats, vacuum floors, and dashboard. Tools needed are: window cleaner, leather cleaner and conditioner, detailing brushes, vacuum , and steamer (for stuck on or really dirty areas).I clean windows first, then use leather cleaner and conditioner on the doors. Remember to remove excess leather cleaner with an extra towel and a quick wipe down after cleaning. Either use an air compressor or the blower function on a vacuum to blow excess dirt from the dashboard and center console, also use this to blow loose dirt out of the car and loosen up dirt for the next step which is vacuuming. Then wipe down the seats, clean the dashboard and center console , use the detail brush to remove dust from the vents. A quick way to clean cup holders is to use a steamer, it easily removes stuck-on residue. These tips will take the guesswork out of interior cleaning.
